Refund Policy – Bullion Direct Market
This Refund Policy sets out the terms under which Bullion Direct Market (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles cancellations, terminations, and refunds relating to the purchase of gold and precious metals.
Market Pricing and No Cooling-Off Period
The prices of the gold and precious metal products we supply fluctuate in line with global bullion markets. These markets are outside our control and prices can change rapidly and without notice.
Due to the fluctuating nature of precious metal prices, once an order has been placed and confirmed, there is no statutory right to cancel or return your order simply because you have changed your mind.
By placing an order with Bullion Direct Market, you acknowledge and accept this risk.
Risk Notice
We sell gold and precious metals based on international market spot prices. These prices are volatile and may rise or fall at any time. Historical price performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. You understand that the value of your purchase may change between the time of order and any request for termination.
Cancellation and Termination Before Dispatch or Collection
Although there is no automatic right to cancel, you may request that we terminate your order before it has been dispatched or collected. This is treated as a request for our termination service.
If you choose to terminate your order prior to dispatch or collection, the following will apply:
-
You will be liable for any adverse movement in the underlying gold price. This is calculated based on the difference between the global market spot price at the time your order was placed and the spot price at the time termination is accepted, multiplied by the precious metal content of your items.
-
A termination fee will apply. This fee is a minimum of 4% of the total order value.
-
You may also be responsible for any additional costs already incurred, including but not limited to storage, administration, hedging, or delivery-related services.
All sums payable as a result of termination become immediately due and must be paid without delay.
Changes or Withdrawal of Orders
Once you have submitted your order, you cannot change or withdraw it unless we specifically agree in writing. Any approved withdrawal will be treated as a termination request and subject to the fees and market loss calculations outlined above.
Termination by You for Breach
You may only terminate a contract without termination fees if there has been a material breach by us. If requested, you must provide reasonable evidence of the alleged breach for the termination to be considered valid.
Termination by Us
We reserve the right to terminate a contract or specific transaction if:
• Payment is not received in cleared funds
• Identity verification requirements are not satisfied
• There is suspected fraud or regulatory concern
• A default cannot be remedied within a reasonable time
• Events outside our control prevent fulfilment
Where appropriate, we will attempt to resolve issues before terminating. If termination occurs due to a default on your part, fees and market loss charges may still apply.
Changes to Customer Details
If your personal or account details change after placing an order, you must notify us immediately. We may request updated identification. Failure to provide accurate or updated information may delay processing or result in termination of pending transactions.
Outcome of Termination
If a contract or transaction is validly terminated by either party:
• Any adverse market movement and termination fees remain payable
• Any outstanding balances become immediately due
• Our obligation to supply the goods will cease
• Accrued rights and remedies of both parties remain in effect
Termination, when carried out in accordance with these terms, does not constitute a breach of contract by either party.
After Delivery or Collection
Once your order has been delivered and signed for, or collected by you, it cannot be returned for a refund due to market fluctuation. All sales are final after transfer of possession.
If you believe goods are faulty or not as described, you must notify us promptly so the matter can be investigated in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
This Refund Policy should be read together with our full Terms and Conditions.
